I can concur that GA having bus rail replacement service most weeks is a complete cunt.
On the plus side it has helped with not drinking, as I usually no option but to drive to games.

We were promised world class transport links to LS back in 2016 (I suppose cant blame the board for this but fuck em).
Over the last 4 years getting from Shenfield to Stratford is fucking hit and miss...If trains are fucked drive to West Horndon and get on the train before the Upminster chavs and ruffians.

Network Rail call the shots when it comes to engineering works. But GA are still a bunch of cunts. This is infrastructure underinvestment that’s been going on since the end of the Second World War. While they have a captive customer base.Fuck all will change.

I have the misfortune of having to travel to work on Greater Anglia 7 or 8 days at a time which is bad enough during the week. If I did not have the option of driving in today I would have had to take the bus from Wickford to Newbury Park then the Central line to Liverpool Street along with half of Eastern Europe. This puts an extra hour on the journey and wouldn't look out of place in a third world country. It wouldn't surprise me if the 3 amigo's had a hand in running Greater Anglia and/or Network Rail. This fiasco has been going on for nearly 3 years

Trying to integrate the systems was always going to be high risk.
Clearly not considered that great to justify the initial extra capital outlay to get a single signalling system. Much quicker to commission, cheaper in the medium term than current solution.

New trains need to integrate with three different signalling systems.
Generally in this country new trains with just the one new signalling system are an utter nightmare to get running reliably. Three signalling systems? No chance.
Even when they eventually get the trains running with punters on them you can bet it will take about a decade for them to get it working correctly to timetable on a regular routine reliable basis. If at all.

That makes a change! Since February i have only been able to travel to a home match on Greater Anglia twice. It is a complete and utter shambles. The worse part of it is that it is the section not affected by the Crossrail works that is always closed. These are the world class travel links we were promised.

If you set off now on foot you'll have loads of time, even make it to the pub in loads of time before the match.
